Fun Horror Stories Costuming And Its Hazards Rate Topic:

As costumers, we know what it takes to create an accurate and cool costume.
We also know, all too well, some of the mishaps and disasters that can happen
when wearing your costumes. So I thought it would be fun to hear about peoples'
costuming horror stories...

Now I'm not talking about bagging out bad costumes or anything like that. It's just
a place to talk about and laugh at costuming situations that the general public
would never know about...

An example: The 1st time I put fans in my Gunners helmet, I bumped the helmet
on an unseen object which caused a fan to come loose and start attempting to
give me a shave. Luckily, the fans weren't too powerful and the blades weren't
sharp so it didn't cause any damage to me. :blink:

So, has anybody got some fun horror stories they'd like to share????? :P

Hmmm, don't know about horror stories but I'm sure there are a few I've probably missed in my travels.

This could be quite funny me thinks...

The sort of stuff I was hoping people would have stories about is like these examples:

* Couldn't see through my helmet visor properly and I walked into a wall...
* All the clips popped open on my armour and I ended up almost naked...
* My cape got caught in lift doors and I ended up being lifted off the ground as the lift went up...

Silly things like that. By the way, I hope none of the above examples actually did happen to anybody... :P

Not yet, but a day with it on once you take it off it feels naked.
My capes been caught on a few things, and sometimes in photos ppl have wandering hands under it!!
I forget how many small childeren Ive knocked to the ground in Vader and how many Ive made exclaim choice words of the english language ;)

Then theres also the creation of costumes and that wonderful high you get from fiberglass, which Ill be getting later today! ;)

bahaha i have had the armour one happen to me.

Or getting a rather massive rip in my body suit in the crotch area as twi'lek (going commando underneath for bathroom duties and such) i was wearing a short skirt as well that was in interesting situation !

Also almost walked into a glass door with my mando bucket on !
