Ok this is a heads up on the for the start of the Christmass troops, they will start to come in now. This one is on the 7th December ( Wed ) starts 8am, and will be for Westmead Childrens Hospital. Please look at your dates and see if you can attend, if so pop your name down.

Ok people some of these events are going to be on top of us before we know it, so please check your calanders, I know mid weeks are hard but if you can get to these hospital visits it will be more than worth it.

Also there is generaly another Westmead troop, I have not been contacted yet but will let you klnow as soon as we hear. Maybe the Fence sitters can let us know.

Add ,me as a possible as we fly in day before and pending if i am able to get used to running a hour fast again i be there most prob in a gunners as i be over ryde way for accommodation for a few days
and maybe i bring other half and little one for a coffee after woods for a catch up pending our timetable for the day

Ok people this looks like the last troop for 2011. Only a few days to go so have a look and see how your going for time for this one, would be good to see you there. Meet at 8am in the front reception area of the hospital. There are some hugh log cut out seats just after the doors, so see you there.

QUICK EVENT REPORT

Ok, so today finished off my trooping for 2011. It was a nice little troop at Westmead with the Kids R Chrisy gang. We gathered at around 8am at the hospital and went into the usual balloon blowing up and bag sorting. We had 3 groups this time, and I was joined by Louise in her Biker Scout. I once more put on the Jedi. We had a mix of the usual faireys and Snow White and some other characters and thanks to James for bringing his R2 who was typical R2 and spat the dumby and lost it wheel. However james was great and still visited the wards giving out drawings he had done and some rings and badges he had managed to gather to give out to the kids.

These troops are always good to do, sometimes hard especialy when you cannot hide inside your helmet, ( I feel very exposed in the Jedi) and take my hat off to those who normaly wear these costumes.

The walk around the wards finished up around 12 and all were happy with the result. Hopefully we can get some more attending next time.

I took a few pics on my phone I will try and load a few up a bit later.
