Gotham's Finest has been asked to attend the event: Buddy Walk- Australia 2011! - Celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness Week and has been asked to extend the invitation to all members of NOVUS ORDO

The Buddy Walk- Sydney, is a charity event celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness Week which involves children and adults with Down syndrome, their families, friends, sports stars and corporate teams walking from Circular Quay, through The Rocks, over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and on to Bradfield Park North Sydney for a harbour side picnic and barbecue.

Buddy Walk- Sydney 2011! on Sunday 16th October is one of a national series of Buddy Walks held around Australia which promote the acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome in all aspects of community life.

Sydney’s Buddy Walk is now in its sixth year after the inaugural Walk in 2006 (entitled ‘Walk with a Mate’) proved a huge success. In the same way that events such as BridgeClimb and Sydney’s New Year’s Eve’s fireworks display have become the standard-bearer for other cities around the world, Sydney’s Buddy Walk, with its spectacular backdrop, has become a leading Buddy Walk event around Australia and the World.
Specifically, To have Gothams Finest Hero's and Villain's, Star War Characters and any other Cosplayer to meet & greet the children at the start & finish lines of our Buddy Walk.

I'm sure i can make this, although very minimal walking will be done in the mando as i have no fans and i'd die half way through !

I am just waiteing for some more information on this event, but it looks like we could be doing a bridge walk, if we go from start to finish. But for those who would like just to participate at the start, and then the finnish, I am going to have the Tarago move form one to the other so a lift is more than possible.

Let me sort out the details and I will post them up.
