you can book a shuttle bus to drop you off and pick you up at the Manor there is a kiosk just outside of the airport near the stairs to the train station its like $20 each way cheaper then the taxi and less of a walk from Train Station.

Well, I setup our table this afternoon with a whole heap of new posters. I also have my Black R5, my Gonk, a video player and hundreds of handouts to put on the table. So hopefully the show will be another fun event. It was bloody hot today but my airconditioned room at the Manor provided some pleasent relief. I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone. More updates across the weekend.... B)

Friday: Final setups this morning and then some more of the team showed up after flying in from Sydney. At 1pm the doors opened and while it was a smaller crowd there were still a lot of people. It felt more like Armageddon back in Feb with the smaller crowds but that was good in that we could still move around. My black R5 visited most areas and entertained the public. Tomorrow they are expecting over 20000 so it will be nice and packed then. The big difference today was that the St Johns Ambulance people screamed at the organisers forcing them to put the airconditioning on so it became a bit cold toward the end of the day. I hope they have the aircon on again tomorrow when the crowds will be there. Pity the St Johns people weren't around in previous years when we desperately needed some airconditioning.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the rest of the weekend so stay tuned for more updates... B)

Saturday: While there were thousands of people today it certainly wasn't like the crush from last April. It was great to catch up with Jules and the family as well. I'm feeling a bit leg weary at the moment but I still enjoyed myself. One more day to go... :)

Sunday: Well, it's all over for another year. It certainly wasn't the biggest Supanova but still quite a successful event. It was GREAT to catch up with Jules, Dan and the girls as well as hang out with the NSW folk (Aileen, Paul, Steve, Rob, Lisa, Geoff) that made the trip north. You all looked brilliant in the different costumes you wore and did a great job manning the stand. If I had a dollar for every photo that was taken of my R5 then I'd be a very wealthy man. Things were quieter at the Manor as well. While there were a lot of Supanova people staying there it wasn't totally full with them but quality made up for the smaller quantity. And I didn't get sick from the Chinese meal we had last night!!!

A big thanks to Geoff and Dan for helping me lug all the stuff back to the hotel. Along with Jules and the girls, we were able to pack up really quickly and get the stuff out of the venue in one go. Nice job so thanks again!!!!

I had many compliments passed onto me about our continuing presence at these shows. The organisers don't make it easy for us (thanks Paul for putting up with and fighting through their sh#t) but the public really do love us being there. The wonderful costumes and those pesky droids make the shows special f\or so many people and this event was no different.

So one more BIG thank you to everyone that attended. I had a GREAT time and I hope you all did as well. I've packed up my car and I'll be starting my journey back home in the morning. I'll post my photos when I get home so look out for them in a few days...

WELL DONE AGAIN NOVUS ORDO AND THE R2 BUILDERS!!!!! :)

It was a greast weekend, with lots of people to thiank, Paul FP for lugging all the gear up there, all NSW members for making the effort to head up, the local members for putting up with us and suporting the goop with costuming and food. The Manor evn if it was on a small scale was back to how I remember the weekends, with getting together and having a god chat with everyone. It was really god to catch up with old friends and faces, but a few were missed and I hope to see you there next time.

Fantastic costumes guys, I realy did end up regretting not doing the TK Borg, but Gld Coast watch out.

Here are some pics of day 2. Lets save our money and aim f or the Gold Coast in April and go up in FORCE.

Special thanks to Jules and Dan for everything, you guys are champions.

It's great to be back home after lugging all my luggage from Brisbane Manor Hotel to Wentworthville. It was great (with the usual exceptions), would have loved to get upto more mischief but it was extremely limited in the fact there were none of the usual major sponsers, JB Hi-Fi, GAME, Wizards of the Coast, without those sponsers there it did feel less exciting than what Sydney Armageddon was.

Anyhow, a lot of work on the wookiee needs to be done not to mention been sanitised. Enjoy.

Oh, speaking of Sydney Armageddon - There isn't one!

Just a quick up date on the above information. Kat is right there is a shuttle that drops at the Manor and can be booked to pick up there as well for youtr trip home. However it's $42.00 for the cab, so if there is more than one, up to 3 then it is more quicker, cheaper and comfortable to grab a cab ! Just for future use.
