Greetings all,
i decided to start this topic so i could get a proper indication as to the people that would like to actually learn how to wield a weapon in the correct manner.
i had posted something similar in my introduction but figured a proper topic would be better
what i offer is just a place to train and someone to teach you the finer points of using a lightsaber (or sword, staff, tonfa, sai, or escrima)
there is no charge what so ever. this is not a way for me to pay the bills. its just a way to teach the people i would like to cos play with how to do it in a better way.
i don't pretend to be an "expert" because I'm not. but i have been training with weapons a long time and have knowledge that i would be willing to teach any Sith (or yes, a Jedi). but not only them. but its open to anyone with a weapon who wants to learn.
so post your name, and what days and times you are available and i will try and make something to suit everyone.
and for location purposes if you feel more comfortable sending your suburb to me in a private post feel free.
wow.... what a rant....
hope to see you all soon
the end.

Ace (Or Aileen, depending on if you're going all 'formal')
Narraweena
And I'm open to suggestion on times.
At the moment, life keeps getting in the way, so I wouldn't be able to keep up a regular training schedule. I'm having enough trouble keeping a regular sleeping schedule.
So whatever you come up with, let me know and I'll try to get there.
Sabre training is something I've wanted to try for a while (I did fencing a while ago and it was a lot of fun). Sure I'm a Jedi, but I'm happy to learn from the dark side. B)

thanks for your reply Ace,
as it stands, due to my working commitments, it will have to be on a weekend. the current rain is stopping any personal training i would usually be doing but there is always the theory :)
my lightsaber will be here in 2 weeks. so i would like to set up something for a Sunday around lunch time for either the 3rd or the 10th of April. or both if there is enough interest.
if anyone is interested i can post a brief description of the basic syllabus i would teach, but like i said, it would be nothing formal. if there is something specific you would like to learn then i would show you.
i look forward to hearin from you all soon.

greetings duelists,
its time for training.
i would like to hold a training session next weekend or the weekend after. either day is fine depending on numbers and who is free when.
anyone who is interested should have their own lightsaber or boken (wooden sword) for training and a pair of gloves (not a necessity but helps to save your hands)
anyone interested can either post here or message me privately.
and with any luck we can get a few people trained well enough to put on a good show at Supanova.
May the force be with you all.
