OK people we have been requested to atend an event that is going to be held at the Greater Union Tuggerah. I have limited details at the moment but will be talking to the event organiser today. I ahve already been in touch with him via emails. To give us time we have agreed on a start from 11am, and will troop up till 3pm. The amount of time you spend there is up to you.
We are looking for Star Wars costumes, and obviously will need transport for those that cannot drive up.
Let us first please see who is interested and can make this troop and then we will sort out the delivery.
So check your calanders we need to move on this one fairly quickly as time is running out.
Hope to see as many of you up thee as we can, and this is a great opertunity for those that live up in that area.

Noreen and I should be there (Depending on health). It's a hop and skip from Granddads... We should be there around 10.30. The Jedi will be out in force! I think I'm going to have to look into armour... Being Jedi is great, but we out-number the bad guys! :) Where's the fun in that??!!

Today was the Family Fun Day at Tuggerah Greater Union. Noreen and I rocked up at about 10.30, and were out in force (No pun intended) at 11. The first part of the day was a bit quiet... We annoyed the face painters, watched the Crocodile and Reptile show, and tried to steal the baby croc (Named Crunch :)).
Darth Barry was resplendant as a Rebel Trooper, and when it got busy we provided colour and movement to what was essentially a bit of fun for everyone. The staff thought we looked fantastic, and we got a few photos with the interested public.
The sabres were a big hit with kids, especially one little guy who got his face painted as Darth Maul. He was so excited! :lol:
Everything was finished by 3pm, and we received sincere thanks from the organizers of the day.
So that's it! Thanks to DB and Noreen for being there... Next time we have to bring a droid! :)
