Have wanted to make a DLT-19 for ages and finally its under way.

Will have the full detailed receiver cover.
Fully working bipod, front & rear sights.
With optional feed tray, drum magazine and receiver block.

Will probably do a small run if there is enough interest when they are done.

I guarantee they will be much better than those floppy rubbery heaps of shite from Victoria that wilt in the heat :P

One step closer :D
Its been a slow process and having to rely on others to get the barrel jacket apart has been an absolute pain.
At least they got the rear section off which I have now molded and have pics below but they've had the jacket now for about 3 weeks and still "haven't had time to have a look at it"
Anyhoo, just a few more tweaks and I can mold the receiver, then its just a waiting game until the engineers can find time to get the front of the barrel jacket assembly apart.
Then all I'll need is some plastic pipe for the jacket itself :)
Below are some pics with the "working" rear sight assembly on a resin cast and also showing that the bipod swivel attachment actually fits .... enjoy :)

For those of you not into molding & casting or into the starwars blasters I can see this thread being a tad boring.

Would you like detail with that ?
Finally got some time to do a bit more with the MG-34.
All the parts are now molded and as the pics show Ive tried to make things as detailed as possible.
The pics are of the final resin casts with a plastic barrel shroud ( thanks Sullo )
I'll attach them to one of those rubbery MG-34 bodies from Victoria soon to show a complete item.
Im stuck at the moment with the MG-34 and will try to sell my FX kit to get funds for more parts.
Until then I'll make a start on the T-21.
Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy the following pics.

OK, as promised a couple of pics with my parts attached to one of those rubbery things from Vic.
I broke it where it joins onto the receiver so that's why it dips in the middle when the inert bullets are added :)

Not the best pic but you can see the receiver cover open and the feed tray in place.

Anyhoo, thats it for the DLT-19 for a while until I can get funds to buy parts......

Looks good Mitch, I would be interested in a report maybe some pics Niko, of the other one, start a thread just for it, and any comments on it from you Mitch would also be apreciated. We here are not about trashing items, but facts on the product would be great. Hope you all had a great easter, just about to head north.

Only thing I know regarding the "floppy" MGs is that mine wilts when it gets warm.
There is absolutely no solidity to it at all.
A lot of the surface is still slightly sticky or tacky to the touch and I had to do a hell of a lot of putty work filling air bubble holes.
Personally, if I were to sell something of that quality I would sell it as seconds due to the amount or work that was needed to get it looking reasonable.
But then perhaps I care more about quality.
Anyhoo, if there's 50 TPE MGs out there then they must have something going for them and obviously as I was near the front of the line when they were first offered maybe I got a lemon.
Niko and Paul, Im not trashing his items, just stating facts.
Now, rather than hijacking this thread I suggest we open up a topic where different blasters can be compared....or something :) I really don't care, people will buy what they can afford, if they can afford details they will tend toward something more expensive.
I'm not in this for the competition, hell, Im not even in this for the money because believe me, I make bugger all from my blasters, I'm doing this so those that want something that is as canon as possible can have it.......simple as that :)

Just a heads up,
This project is now on hold for...ummm...legal reasons.
But now have time to concentrate on the T-21 & DC-15s. ...... although that doesn't mean they will be done anytime soon.
