Helen and I have been working on Kaylas new TB all day. It has been a while since I have worked on armour, and forgot how much fun it was. Anyway the project moves on and soon it should be all together.

Here are some pics of today. also Wolf, we did your mini nappy as well.

Here are the pics.

It would be amusing to see them on Endor trying to fight off Ewoks! They'd be like Wookiees to them! :D

I would highly recogment this build for getting kids into armour and getting them use to wwearing this type of costume. I have a full TK kit sitting in a box in the garage but it will ahve to waite a few years untill she is ready for it.

Ok so the belts all finished, so now I find a new pair of gum boots as she has growen out of the pair we got her when we got the costume kit, no worries Louise can use them. I spray them with a under coat ( grey ) on Friday last. And at Lunch time today they are still sticky, humidity, rain, general been wet nosun, type of paint, maybe the gum boot material ??????? who knows. So I grab the white ( Silk finsh ) and start to spray, the undercoat went on great, but this can was obviously old and started to splatter right away, was a little ticked off.

I managed to give the boots a reasonable coat, but the end caps look horrible, so might sand them off at R2 and re-spray. But the big suprise was the boots were dry by 5pm this afternoon, how crazy is tat. So I will see how they go. Just go to finish off the helmet at R2 Wed's night and paint it and hopeflly she will be at Blacktown to troop.

I hope they all can get a pic together, it would be soo cool our own mini pathfinders , also Paul turn her knees up the other way LOL, hey I think our boots ae still sticky,, afte she wore at Power house, her boos where all covered in blue carpet, and there was white patches every where on her clothes LOL.
It is a great build, I just love the bucket, LOL, sarcasm insert here. its fun and not to tricky, but paitence is required and good old CA glue thats the secret to the bucket .
Cant wait to see her all fitted out, but can happily wait to see wWolf in a mini nappy AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Cheers Adam.s
