Just finished Matthews and my Gunners Armour. heres a little write up on it and some pics. It was not really a major job. The Armour came form Mould Man up in QLD, and it is basically front and back Black TK armour, with the shoulder straps. The armour cam as out of the mould so had to be trimmed, it is HIPS, not ABS. I decided to go with Webbing and snaps, the same as on my TK, I have found this a great neat method for wearing armour.

The only thing that stumped me was the shoulder saps, I had not worked with HIPS before so did not really know how to bend it. I was going to glue them on, then rivit them on, but finaly I just put them in hot water, bent them a little and used industrail vlcrow on them. I will see how this gos.

The armour looks great, the only thing that would be of concern is that matt and myself ( me in particular ) are a little in the big size, I would like to eventually get a set of Black FX TK armour to do the same job on, just to scale the armour up a bit.

Thanks to Mould man and others for your advice, I will post pics once we get to actually wear this stuff.

Front view, Armour hanging on chair, under the HIPS straps, is webbing glued between the front and back .

Side view shows HIPS Straps, Webbing under HIPS and the side webbing, which is snapped both ends, all can be removed for packing.
